Over four weeks, students will develop skills in coil building to create unique, finished sculptures. During the course, we will explore the science behind ceramics, practice essential techniques, and develop personalized sculpture projects. Students will finish the course with two completed pieces, a vase and a sculpture.

Coil building involves layering and joining cylindrical coils of clay. It's one of the most versatile pottery methods, allowing artists to create an incredible variety of forms—from precise and symmetrical structures to fluid, organic shapes. Through dedicated practice, you'll build the skills and confidence to bring your creative ideas to life in beautifully crafted ceramic pieces.

Beginners are welcome—no prior experience is necessary. More experienced artists are also encouraged to join and refine their skills.

Space is limited, so reserve your spot today! Includes 4 classes, materials & firings.

Classes start Thursday 5/29, from 4-6pm.

If this class doesn't fit your needs but you're still interested in taking a class, please reach out with your feedback—I'd love to hear from you so I can provide more suitable options. Contact me here.
